Thrivent Seminar Thursday, July 17, at 7:30 p.m. - Our local Thrivent Representative, Chris Von der Porten will conduct a seminar at Christ the King on Parents and saving for college. Please sign up on the table in the narthex under the office window by July 9.

Christ the King Scrip Information Meetings: July 12 and July 19, Sunday mornings - between and during services in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll be holding a series of brief informational meetings about the scrip program, and we urge you to attend. We’ll go over all the facts about scrip, answer your questions, and ask you to fill out a survey to help us determine the feasibility of this program

Picnic sponsored by Thrivent Saturday, August 15 - Thrivent will be sponsoring a picnic here at Christ the King for all Lutherans in the surrounding area. Rumor has it that there will be live music and games for the children. More details coming soon!!

WELCA Prayer Sister Event Saturday, August 22 - Save the date for a women’s fellowship event that will include finding out the identity of your 2008-2009 Prayer Sister and kickoff the 2009-2010 Sister season. Look for more details soon!
