What We Do: |
The Outreach ministry maintains a phone hotline for community needs, supports The
Place and includes activities such as Relay for Life, Disaster Relief, St. Patrick’s
Day Dinner, Christmas Angel Tree, blood drives, Letters from Home (to service personnel),
yard sale for Habitat for Humanity, Nostalgia (musical and social outreach to senior
citizens) and more.We work together with Thrivent Financial to meet the needs of
the community.

Caring for the Caregivers |
|
What We Do: |
The Caring for the Caregivers ministry provides some TLC for those who work in settings
taking care of others, perhaps through a home-cooked meal on their shift or some
other method.

Eucharistic Ministry |
|
What We Do: |
Lay persons will carry the consecrated bread and wine straight from the communion
table to our shut-ins. Dottie and Larry will serve as lay leaders of the Eucharistic
Ministry with Pastor Dee.

Nostalgia |

What We Do:

We provide musical and social outreach to senior citizens.

The Prayers and Squares ministry lovingly makes special small quilts for those in
crisis.

The Stephen Ministry provide Christ the King with the structure, training, and resources
to set up and administer a complete system for lay caring ministry in the congregation. |

WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church |

What We Do: |
This church-wide women’s ministry takes on a variety of projects throughout the
year such as the Lutheran World Relief quilts, as well as supporting other local
